Club Rentals

Is your group wanting to try something new? Consider a team building activity like lawn bowling. Throughout the season we host Corporate Team Building events, events for local businesses, family gatherings, Memorials, and various parties.

Lawn Bowling Rental Rates

Rental rate is $30.00 per person, which includes the following:

Exclusive use of all club facilities for up to 3 hours, including the green, clubhouse, kitchen, cutlery and dishware, barbecue, and portable tables and chairs for dining
All necessary bowling equipment
Introductory coaching
Ongoing coaching throughout the games

A booking deposit of $100.00 is required to secure a slot on our Booking Calendar. The deposit is refunded only if your event must be cancelled due to inclement weather or to a Provincial Health Order (PHO). For rentals longer than 3 hours in duration there is an additional charge of $150.00 per group per hour or portion thereof.

Clubhouse-Only Rental Rates

First footing of our new building happened on this day.

We prepare for our clubhouse grand opening in Dec 2022

When out clubhouse if iopen we will be renting the space out to all tpyes of events listed here.... Birthdays, Corporate,

Rental rate is $55.00 per hour or portion thereof with a minimum rental of 2 hours. Rental includes the exclusive use of all clubhouse facilities, including kitchen, cutlery and dishware, barbecue, and portable tables and chairs for dining.

A non-refundable booking deposit of $100.00 is required to secure a slot on our calendar.

Capacities

Minimum group size is for bowling is 20. Maximum number of bowlers that can play at the same time is 64 (8 rinks, each with two teams of 4).

When Clubhouse is available:

Maximum number for indoor meal seating is 60. Maximum for outdoor meal seating is about 80.

WiFi

The NVLBC clubhouse will be equipped with free WiFi for use by guests.

The network password is is located in this area of the clubhouse.

Access and Parking

Our street address is 249 East 24th Street North Vancouver, BC V7L 3E7

We are at Mickey McDougal Center, two blocks east of Lonsdale Avenue.

Access for people and vehicles is from 24th Street and walk up access from 23rd street. See below for an image of the area and club premises at the link here.

Public parking is available on site for about 15 vehicles. There is usually ample free parking on 24th 23rd and St Andrews Avenue and other residential streets in the neighbourhood. Frequent public transit travels up and down Lonsdale and a few blocks north of the club.

Constraints and Obligations

For participants, the main constraints are as follows:

For clubhouse-only rentals, they must stay off the bowling green altogether
For lawn bowling rentals, they must wear soft flat-soled shoes with no heels or deep treads
If they are lawn bowling, they should wear clothing that permits them to bend easily from the waist and knee
There is no smoking permitted anywhere on club grounds
Beverages consumed outside must be in plastic cups
Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises

For organizers, the main constraints and obligations are:

Use of confetti is not permitted
Use of tape to attach decorations to walls, ceilings, or windows with tape is not permitted
All candles must be in jar-like containers
Use of barbecues in the clubhouse or on the veranda is not permitted
You must collect and remove all your refuse
You must clean all areas and associated club equipment used to prepare, serve and consume food and drink
