Juniors Program & Activities
The North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club has an active Junior program. The Juniors, youngsters ages  8 to 18 years old, train every Tuesday, starting in June until mid August.

Practice time is 5:30 p.m. to 6:30, finishing early enough to clean up and vacate the greens for Pony Night. As Juniors skills develop, players may advance to playing in the Pony Night League, practicing with the newer adult bowlers (under coaches supervision) Pony practice ends around 9:00 p.m.
Throughout the season, the Juniors may play in various tournaments in the club and in the Greater Vancouver District area.

The most skilled Juniors are selected to represent the North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club at the British Columbia Championships, which is played in early August. In the past few years the North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club has hosted the Vancouver and District Junior Championships and the Canadian Junior Championships. Our young members range in skills to allow them to play at all levels.
If you want a great summer activity, Lawn Bowling is for you! It is a neutral gender, non-contact sport for youngsters. It instils self discipline, team work, develops friendships and is character building. It is also a game that complements cross training for other sports that are played in other seasons.

Junior Membership fees are only $40.00 per year.
Our coaches, are NCCP Nationally trained coaches, some have taken elite training workshops.
